Irish Flute Tunes

The Old Copperplate

This is the one some people call “The Copperplate” while calling the one I call “The Old Copperplate” “The Copperplate”.  If you search this site for “Copperplate” you’ll find the one I call “The Copperplate” sandwiched between 2 other tunes which I neither call “The Copperplate” nor “The Old Copperplate”.  I hope that clears up any potential confusion.

  Hello, I hope you find this site of some use. I will continue to play tunes and post them here as a source for people to learn from. If anyone wants a specific tune played then I'll try to record it if I know it. I used to find it difficult to get recordings of some tunes played at a resonable speed and in a normal key.
