Tory Island (reel)

Here's a reel which is also called "Murphy's Hound".  I'm not sure how it got these two names or what the connection may be between them.  Something to do with the Isle of Dogs maybe, though as one island is in the Thames and the other in the Atlantic, I may well be barking up the wrong tree entirely.

Micheal: Great job on this reel. I learned it as McGovern’s from the late Sligo flute player Mike Flynn. Mike always made a big show of the C# in the last turn of the second part, and he was ferocious at banging on the first octave G’s each time through the first part. What kind of flute are you playing these days? Whatever it is, you are getting a fabulous sound out of it. I am breaking in a medium-holed Rudall-inspired flute by John Gallagher. I am very pleased with it already, and that is before it gets its “touch-up” voicing in the next 6 months or so. Frank
