Irish Flute Tunes

The Twenty One Highland

November 20th, 2007 at 8:36 pm (traditional irish flute, irish flute)

The first part of this tune should really be played an octave lower on a fiddle,  complete with nice growly bits.  I’m afraid a flute is all I had to hand so this is the best I could do.  I’m never sure how to end this tune on any instrument.  Maybe not starting it would work.

  Hello, I hope you find this site of some use. I will continue to play tunes and post them here as a source for people to learn from. If anyone wants a specific tune played then I'll try to record it if I know it. I used to find it difficult to get recordings of some tunes played at a resonable speed and in a normal key.
