Cornelius Curtin’s Big Balloon
June 2nd, 2007 at 9:53 pm (traditional irish flute, irish flute)
This is a tune with a great name.
I'll tidy up this post tomorrow. I'm feeling too vague just now.
Today is now tomorrow and I'm fit to add that I heard this one on Paddy Carty's LP. It's named after "The Balloon" which was a pub in Fulham, London owned by Con Curtin from Kerry.

I can't write much about this tune due to my having an industrial strength hangover to wrestle with. I recorded this tune yesterday, before I went out. I recall feeling quite well then.
