Today, one year ago, my father passed. He name is John S. Egan. I searched the web for something in his name today and found this Irish tune. My dad was Irish and his father came from Ireland to New York. It was very fitting to hear this tune today in his honor. Thank you. Connie Egan Freund

Hello Connie. Thanks for that very touching comment. You father’s namesake was a very influential figure in Irish flute playing. I’m sure your father was a great man also. I’ll try to record a few more tunes in his honour.
